| Kent - the Garden of England. (Well,
at least they are certainly digging it over!) However it is
still beautiful county with so many things to see. Kent is
the place that thrives by day and - even more so - by Night! Attractions in Kent include many historical buildings, cities and villages. Together with these general areas, there are Places as disparate as Leeds Castle, The Hop Farm and The Friars at Aylesford. Fruit production is well in evidence throughout Kent, as are all types of Agriculture - much of it now being diversified from the normal arable farming. Strawberry production is well in evidence, bringing a new 'look' to the urban landscape, with poly tunnels and low level plastic sheeting. There are many things to do and places to visit in Kent - either shopping expeditions, wildlife, activities or simply enjoyment of the Kent countryside. Together with this, we are just a short ride from our nearest continental neighbours - France! |
