these days, most garages have invested heavily in sophisticated diagnostic
equipment - certainly this will or should be the case with car main
dealerships. Check to make sure that you garage has access to good
diagnostic equipment or the extra labour costs in tracing a car fault could
well outstrip those charged by a main dealer.
Don't put off the visit to the car repair garage if
you suspect that you car has a problem. A delay could result in a hefty
bill.
Also think carefully about pre-problem maintenance. For
instance, a cam belt breakage could well mean many hundreds of pounds - in
some cases perhaps thousands!
