Dymchurch - A great South East Coastal Town.

Dymchurch is situated just off junction 11, of the M20 Motorway on the south east coast of Kent. Dymchurch has great sandy beaches that stretch for miles along this delightful coastline. On the beach you will find plenty to do to keep yourself entertained – a Donkey ride, building a sandcastle, or flying a kite in the gentle sea breezes along these wonderful golden sands. Dymchurch beaches are so relaxing and have easy access to the surrounding beautiful countryside, where you will find many walks and cycle paths.

Dymchurch

The seawall that aligns the beach was built by the Romans and is an ideal place to sit and watch the ships sail by. When you have relaxed enough head for the Dymchurch Amusement park and Arcades, complete with terrifying Ghost Train, or perhaps a ride on the Dodgems, the Helter Skelter, or even some light-hearted gambling in the Arcade!

Dymchurch has a whole host of restaurants, cafes, tea rooms and local Inns. As with all seaside towns, rock and candy floss shops can be found in the high street.

The Romney Hythe & Dymchurch Railway

This wonderful railway was opened in July 1927 and is the World’s smallest Public Railway. It travels from Hythe to Dungeness. The railway also offers a Toy museum and model railway layout and has a host of special events throughout the year. This includes Santa arriving by Train in the Christmas Festive Season.
