Maidstone Carriage Museum

This Museum is not to be missed whilst touring Maidstone, with an exclusive collection of horse-drawn Royal and State carriages - the first of its kind in the United Kingdom and is said to be the finest in Europe. The collection can be located in the stables of the Archbishop’s Palace. Admission to the Museum is free.

Maidstone Museum

Chillington Manor built in 1562 is home to this Museum. Discover the gorgeous diverse collections that Maidstone Museum has to offer, from Victorian to Egyptian artefacts, or visit The Earth Heritage Gallery. Children will love to explore and learn the local history. Free Admission.

Maidstone Millennium River Park

The Millennium Park opened in 2001 and is be located along the River Medway in Maidstone, with its 10km of paths and 3 footbridges you can walk to Teston and Allington through beautiful rural settings.

Bank Street

With its many listed buildings and outstanding architectural excellence, Bank Street is said to be the most historic street in Maidstone. There are numerous restaurants and wine bars situated here.
